While the conference will take up a large portion of your time, you will have some personal time left where you can explore San Diego and the surrounding area. There are several restaurants near the Convention Center that offer exceptional food at an affordable price, most of which are in walking distance of the venue.

Roy's San Diego Waterfront

Roy's San Diego Waterfront, offers a variety of different cuisines including Japanese, Hawaiian, American, Sushi and Pacific Rim favorites. Excellent food and quality of service are two of the restaurant's strong points. The restaurant is located within the Marriott for convention goers who don't want to wander far.

Marion's Fish Market

Marion's Fish Market offers the finest in ocean front dining. The Market serves a variety of fish and seafood dishes to cater to almost any taste. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. You can relax with friends after a long day at the RIMS Convention and enjoy Marion's many unique seafood recipes, including clam chowder and fish tacos.

Seasons 52

Seasons 52 offers a wide array of seasonal foods and a large selection of top quality wines. The restaurant changes its menu four times a year to celebrate the transition from one season to another. Bringing the freshest foods from each season to the table is the main goal.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar is everything a steakhouse should be and more. It is located less than a tenth of a mile from the Convention Center an can accommodate large groups of conference goers. Fleming's offers American cuisine and a steakhouse setting.

Lou & Mickey's

Great for special occasions, Lou & Mickey's offers American and steakhouse cuisine. The fare can be a little expensive but the food and service are worth the price. The facility has both a private dining room and a private patio for groups who want to continue their conversations after leaving the RIMS Convention.

New Leaf Restaurant

New Leaf Restaurant is a Mexican restaurant that offers excellent food and top notch customer service. The restaurant is located in the Hilton and is right across the street from the Convention Center. New Leaf accepts reservations and is ideal for people who are attending the RIMS Convention, but do not want to go far from the hotel.

Toscana Cafe and Wine Bar

Toscana Cafe and Wine Bar serves Italian cuisine and offers the finest in area wines. RIMS Convention attendees can find great food at affordable prices at the restaurant. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Reservations are accepted for large groups.

Nobu

Nobu offers the finest in Asian, Japanese, Sushi and Contemporary cuisine. Nobu accepts reservations and offers excellent food for the price. It is an ideal place to gather and discuss ideas after the conference.

Union Kitchen & Tap

The Union Kitchen & Tap offers American cuisine in a casual atmosphere. The Union is far enough away that you can carpool with other attendees if you so desire. A rustic setting is ideal for sampling a variety of craft beers and feasting on authentic American cuisine.

Rockin' Baja Coastal Cantina
